What can you do for your child with a disability?
Make a request in writing to receive copies of the Unit and Lesson Plans your child's teacher uses for instruction (most Districts have a policy that requires teachers to have written lesson plans).
Note: I have posted the plans in a word document for those who would like to use the same format. I suggest that you begin your unit plans by aligning the plans with IEP goals, while keeping in mind the way your child learns (I wrote lesson plans because my son's previous teacher failed to write lesson plans, the District claims they were "verbal" plans).
